Weichert Launches New Division to Shoulder the Management Responsibilities for Property Owners

PLAINS, N.J., – Weichert announced the launch of Weichert, Realtors® Property
Management, a new member of the Weichert Family of Companies that will provide
property management services for investors, and dual residency or vacant
property owners in Northern New Jersey.
This new division of Weichert will offer a
host of management services to assist landlords both before the rental and then
once the tenant moves in. To help property owners secure rentals, Weichert,
Realtors Property Management will perform a number of servicing such as helping
to establish fair market value for rental units; marketing rentals to obtain
prospective tenants; verifying employment information and performing credit
checks for all prospective tenants; and preparing legally approved leases for
signature by tenants.
Once tenants move in, Weichert, Realtors
Property Management provides services to help owners in the maintenance and
management of their properties. The company can receive and process monthly
rental payments, make authorized disbursements for landlords such as mortgage
payments, insurance or property taxes, act as a point of contact for tenants on
all matters, and arrange for appropriate repairs as authorized by the landlord.
