Weichert Intranet Site Wins Industry Award For Publication Excellence

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J., – Weichert, Realtors was recently honored with an APEX Award for Publication Excellence in the Individual Web Pages and Sections category.  Weichert received the award for its Communications Archive on WeichertOne, the company’s intranet site for its sales associates and employees.

 

“Having our intranet site recognized for publication excellence is a great honor,” said Denise Smith, senior vice president of administration and operations for Weichert, Realtors. “It is particularly gratifying because it validates our effort to make WeichertOne the most comprehensive, informative and useful resource possible.”

 

Launched in September 2008, the Communications Archive was designed to keep sales associates and employees informed of the latest company and industry news.  The intranet site section includes links to the current issues of various Weichert e-newsletters, as well as a comprehensive search function which allows visitors to view past issues that are relevant to a particular topic of interest.  Through the Communications Archive, sales associates can even forward information of value directly to their buyers and sellers.

 

The APEX Awards program recognizes excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the ability to achieve overall communications goals.  There were 3,785 entries, and Weichert was one of only six Awards of Excellence winners in its category.
